Wish Lanterns

My first night in Kaifeng I saw people writing wishes on orange paper.  The air inside is heated with a candle and then the lantern is launched into the air.  I paid 10 yua ($1.50) to send a wish for a good semester.  Mike wrote, Marta helped hold, I photoed, and off it went.
